Color of Winter

On Monday, we woke up to a blanket of white. Seeing the snow glisten and sparkle was a sight to behold.

It was a thrill to get glimpses from home.   Of course, I had to call my family in Minnesota to share my excitement.   The response I got was less than enthusiastic...they didn't understand my joy over something so common that they are so over with.   Having lived there most of my life, I can relate to being afflicted with a bad case of cabin fever this time of year; but we don't get many snow falls here in NC, so waking up to a winter wonderland made me incredibly happy.

Now, that the world has been righted and winter is as it should be...spring can come knocking (today's high...72 degrees)!  :::pure bliss:::
